Processing
The Consortium plans to locate its fisheries complexes and/or processing facilities in strategic locations throughout the country, preferably those with close proximity to high productive fishing grounds with existing facilities such as landing jetties, fuel platforms, seafood processing plants, cold storages, ice-plants, repair and dry-dock or boatyard facilities.
In seeking for a competitive advantage, we are exploring the possibilities of JVs or strategic alliances or technical tie-up with key players in the industry.
With our present focus on tuna fishing and trading activities of sashimi tuna, we are currently exploring possible avenues for processing of tuna loins, saku, steak and so on.
